June 2015 PTI Blog Hop Challenge

JUNE 2015 PTI BLOG HOP CHALLENGE

Well, hey there!  THANK YOU for hopping to my blog!
I really pared down my take on the challenge for June.  I loved the inspirational photo and really wanted to show off a quick card.  I just know the vellum with gray stripes has the potential to be exquisite....I zeroed in on the stripes in the watering can and the orange flower cascade!  I can't wait to see your entries.

I need to make an embarrassing disclosure; I have tried to post comments on so many blogs for so many months, while I'm hopping and for some reason the never post.  I have tried every configuration the little boxes demand of me and they still never show up.  I really enjoy all of your creative work and so enjoy having a look around!  SO THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL ART WORK!
If you can offer me a clue as to how to make it work, please enlighten me!

Have a lovely weekend!  I'm off to visit my mom and sister and her family!

Cheers!
Gwen

PTI MAY BLOG HOP CHALLENGE!

There is just something so bright and cheerful about a rainbow of colors all in one place.  I found this photo of scattered wooden blocks especially inspiring and thought it was a wonderful jumping point for a card!  You can stamp scattered images on a card front.  Use the colors to create stripes or backgrounds.  Die cut multiples of similar shapes in a rainbow of colors and adhere them in a unique pattern.  Splatter several colors of ink or paint onto your project.  Get creative and have fun with all of the options at your fingertips!

I didn't realize how much I love the rainbow effect on my cards until I saw the challenge, created my card!  And then looked at past card archives!

Here is my entry!

Papertrey card stock, sentiment stamp and background die! Colored with Copics.

PAST RAINBOWS OF COLOR!

Thank you for having a peek!

More shares from the past that never made it to my Happy Place!
